* Heavy duty pleated media filter that can trap up to 28 times as many particles as a standard fiberglass filter, including animal dander and plant spores. It collects particales as small as .3 microns
* Has large dust holding capacity. These filters can acccomodate between 23 and 35 sq ft of filter media into a unique low-pressure drop design-furnishing one of the largest dust-holding capacities available in resisdential air cleaners

Filter comes with a foam seal strip and installation instructions that is needed to produce a secure fit between filter and filter cabinet in the case of Trion, Honeywell and Maca cabinets. For Space-Gard 2200, No seal strip required - just install filter inside plastic holder.

Introduction
The FIL Media Filter Cartridge is designed to fit not only FIL, MACA and MPKA cabinets, but several competing filter manufacturers' air cleaner cabinets as well. In the case of Trion®, Honeywell and MACA cabinets, a piece of foam seal strip (included) is needed to further produce a secure fit between filter and filter cabinet. These instructions will detail the foam seal strip installation process. NOTE: *Space-Gard® 2200 models use FIL__CAR0020 Only

1. Prepare seal strip for installation

a. Cut strip to proper length.
b. Peel off liner backing.

2. Install foam seal strip to top edge of filter cartridge on leaving airflow side
(See Fig. 1).
3. Remove Air Cleaner Cabinet Door.
4. Install filter and replace air cleaner cabinet door.

Note: For best results, foam seaL strip should be installed on leaving air side of filter (recommended location).
Note: For Space-Gard® 2200, no seal strip is required. Install filter media cartridge inside the plastic filter holder.

Heavy duty pleated media filter: 16" x 25". For Carrier MPKA and FILCAB air cleaner cabinets. Replaces FILCCFTC filter which is obsolete. Has large dust holding capacity. This filter will fit in Honeywell 16 x 25 (FC100A1029 and FC200E1029) and Trion Air Bear 16 x 25 cabinet size.

Heavy Duty Pleated Media Filter: 20" x 25". For Carrier MPKA and FILCAB air cleaner cabinets. Replaces Carrier FILCCFTC filter which is obsolete. Filter has large dust holding capacity. This filter will also fit in Honeywell 20 x 25 (FC100A1037 and FC200E1037), Trion Air Bear 20 x 25 cabinet size, and Aprilaire/Space-Gard model 2200. Filter comes with a foam seal strip and installationg instructions that is needed to produce a secure fit between filter and filter cabinet in the case of Trion, Honeywell and Maca cabinets. For Aprilaire/Space-Gard 2200, no seal strip is required -- Just install filter inside plastic filter holder.

Carrier EZ Flex Expandable Media Filter

The Carrier EZ Flex expandable filter is a high-efficiency air filter. This filter has a MERV 10 efficiency while maintaining one of the lowest pressure drop ratings in the industry. This filter will provide cleaner air, reduced levels of dust and other airborne pollutants and enhanced system performance. Easy to Assemble. It uses a simple, three-step assembly process that is much faster than other expandable filters on the market. Other expandable filters can take up to 15 minutes to assemble, requiring the installation of up to five combs (pleat spacers). The patented design of the EZ Flex does not require combs and assembles in less than 15 seconds. Three easy steps:

1. Simply remove the filter from its box and expand to full size.
2. Place one of the re-usable end pieces on a flat surface and insert the expanded filter.
3. To complete assembly, place the second end piece across the opposite side of the filter.

Recommended Replacement:
Once a year for standard fan operation. Twice a year for continuous fan operation.
